Happy Birthday to Me!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, it's Luvie here.  I had such a fun day today!  I turned 4 years old and my foster mom and foster siblings had a big party for me!  I just had to share some pictures.

This is me eating my first ever chicken carrot cupcake.  My foster mom had it sitting on a pretty plate and was ready to take my picture, but that sneaky Vroom was sniffing around and I decided I was better off taking to my bed.

That was good stuff!

I got a scoop of vanilla ice cream too!  My foster siblings explained you are supposed to lick it until it's gone, but I ate the whole thing in one big gulp and it was yummy!  I did lick the bowl afterward:)

Here I am with a brand new pig stuffie that is just for me!  Notice the pretty new diamond necklace I'm wearing in the other pictures too.  I'm really liking this birthday stuff!

I won't be out meeting and greeting this weekend because I have a home visit.  Keep your fingers and paws crossed for me - I have a good feeling about this one:)  I hope everyone is doing well.

Hugs and kisses,

Luvie

Luvie's First Meet and Greet

Luvie has been with us just under 24 hours.  Cathy W was kind enough to keep her for me until I could foster her.  I picked her up last night and she has done great at our house so far.  She slept quietly through the night on our bedroom floor until 8 a.m. today!

I took her out to the Hermitage Meet and Greet today and she certainly lived up to her name.  This sweet little girl is definitely a love bug.  I know she has a big set of admirers after her M&G debut today.

I took a lot of photos - I was so proud of how well she did at her first M&G that I got a little carried away:)

Her sweet face

She did great with the children there

I think this nice lady would have taken her home today if she could!

I'll post more about Luvie as I get to know her better this week, so check back soon!

Luvie has been with me since Thursday last week. She has had no accidents in the house or the crate. She will go into the crate with a little help. She has been fine in the crate for up to 7 hours so far. She eats well and is starting to play with stuffies. Luvie is a little stand-offish but wants to be loved but on her own time. That should change with time. She is still a little unsure of this retirement stuff. She gets along well with all the other greys in the house. She now sleeps well thru the night. She seems like she will be a very fun dog once she gets adjusted. As you can seee from the pictures she has ears that go everywhere.
